What Remains of Heaven- Book Review Time!!

What Remains of Heaven is a book I recently read. It is one of those mystery novels that there are a billion of just like it, but I think this one had something different. It was so amazing! But before I get into the details I feel it necessary to give a summary..
SUMMARY:
The latest request for help from Sebastian St. Cyr, Viscount Devlin--from the Archbishop of Canterbury, no less--is undeniably intriguing: The bodies of two men have been found in an ancient crypt, their violent deaths separated by decades. One is the Bishop of London, the elderly Archbishop's favored but controversial successor. The identity of the other seems lost in time, although his faded velvet attire marks him as gentleman of the eighteenth century.

To Sebastian's consternation, the last person to see the Bishop alive was Miss Hero Jarvis, a woman whose already strained relationship with St. Cyr has been complicated by a brief, unexpectedly passionate encounter. It also soon becomes obvious that her powerful father has reasons of his own for wanting the Bishop out of the way. In an investigation that leads from the back alleys of Smithfield to the power corridors of whitehall, Sebastian amasses a list of suspects that ranges from some of the Prince Regent's closest cronies to William Franklin, embittered son of famous American patriot Ben Franklin. Each step Sebastian takes toward the killer brings him closer to a devastating truth that could ultimately force him to question who--and what--he really is.

Does that not sound amazing??? Because it was!! It is a mystery in which the main character Sebastian trys to find the killer of the bishop and so on but personally part of why I absolutely loved this book was because of Sebastian! He was an absolutely great character! He was a bit of a partier, but also a devil may care, smart, witty, free thinking, funny, interesting, and brave guy. He was very noble through it all. In a time when many men were.. well, complete assholes, he was by contrast very very different. The story has a great plot to it, and keeps you guessing the whole way through! I loved every minute of it! I would seriously suggest that everyone go and read it! It is just one of the books in the Sebastion St. Cyr mystery series though, I sincerely want to read the entire series. And when I get the other books in the series you will be reading about them on here! So, everyone go buy this book now and read it!! Or atleast comment below and tell me how you think it sounds. Questions and comments are always appreciated!
