My Shoe Obsession: Converse Style

There are few shoes that I have a true love for like Converse, they are just the best. And people who are weird like me tend to like them. It is largely a shoe worn by outcasts which is cool, they show you aren't like everyone else. I love being an individual so much, just simply because so many people try to be what others want them to be. So I just thought I'd do a post on these awesome very rockerish shoes, and the above pictures are me in my converse. Some awesome kicks right? I sure think so...but of course I think so right? I really want some awesome converse, like John Lennon converse or Nirvana ones. That'd be pretty cool, if I get any I will definitely be putting pictures all over here! Hope everyone is having a great summer:)

Kiersten Dunst looking very thoughtful

What got you two so excited? Maybe it was meeting the president..

This brings new meaning to being patriotic

You wouldn't think a school field trip could give anyone such long faces

Betsy and Arlene looking very angry..and mod

Betsy sneering, and Arlene trying to look cool.
I was in a hurry to post last night and forgot to add pictures, and quite frankly I do not feel like learning how to edit previous posts. So sorry I'm a ditz. Just pretend this post is part of the last one.

"Four score and seven years ago our forefathers...did something, I don't know what!" -Arlene

O, the memories of watching the movie Dick. It's one of those teeny-bopper, funny movies that is insanely fun to watch because it is just a funny concept to think that these two dumb blonds could be deep throat. It's a pretty deep thought, pun intended. Hey, I never said I was a comic! The movie chronicles two young teenage girls, who meet President Nixon after wandering away from their tour group at the white house. They were present at the Watergate break in but really have no idea what's going on until they find a tape in which a recorded conversation from Nixon and other people who work for him is heard. They then proceed to tell the reporters Woodward and Bernstein who eventually take them seriously but first greet the two young girls like this:
Woodward: "How old are you??"
Betsy: "Twenty-three?"
Woodward: "Is that your combined ages?"
Betsy: "There's no need to be snotty!"

Those are some of my favorite lines from the movie, they make me laugh every time I hear them! The movie is basically making a mockery of Nixon, his administration, and the whole situation and those involved. It's really a  funny movie that I think is great to watch and just appreciate the stupidity of everyone in it, especially Nixon! I don't know how you could watch this movie and not laugh. Maybe I'm not the only one out there who loves it, if I'm not, let me know what you like about the movie. And if you don't like this movie... you have no taste.
